Spring Break Zoo Trip

In honor of Emily being on Spring Break, today we headed to the zoo for a little family fun. Who knew that half of the families in Oklahoma City would also have the same idea. We heard that today was the most people that have ever had at the zoo on one day.

In Honor of My Wife

I think Theresa could eat Chick-fil-a everyday if it were possible.

Anniversary Date Night

Last Friday night we dropped the girls off and mom and dad's so we could go shopping for Callie's birthday and celebrate our seven-year anniversary.  After finishing our shopping for Callie, we went to Pelicans to enjoy some really good seafood.  The finish our night, we decided to go see the movie Avatar.  Everything was going great until about ten minutes from the end of the movie.  All of the power for the entire theatre shut off because a car ran into a transformer in the surrounding area.  Talk about disappointment!  All of us had sat through over two hours of previews and the movie to be told we could come back later and re-watch it.

As we were leaving, Theresa reminded me that something similar happened to us while we were celebrating our first anniversary.  We were living in New Mexico at the time and had rented a cabin for the weekend in Ruidoso, NM.  One of the nights we were there, we went to a little movie theatre and several times during our movie it would just stop.  The funny part was, they were start showing slides of nature scenes almost like somebody's homemade slideshow.  We eventually got to watch the movie after several stops and starts with a slideshow in between.

That was an anniversary celebration we won't forget and neither was this years.  What is it about us and movie problems on our anniversary?

Christmas Season 2009

Merry Christmas from the Peck Family!

My Family & Sarah Palin

My wife and sister first stood out in the cold to get a wristband so they could be guaranteed to see Sarah Palin on her book tour stop in Norman. They went back yesterday around 2:00pm to get back in line.  Jennifer got to say a few words to the camera and then you see her and Theresa standing in at the table.  Theresa is wearing her neon yellow "Sarah Palin Hockey Club" shirt I got her for Christmas last year.  Definitely worth the wait!
